This class A motor home had carpet throughout, including the bathroom, with the exception of some vinyl in front of the sink and stove. The carpet was worn and hard to keep clean from the Virginia red clay and Florida sand. The customer wanted to replace the carpet in the main walkway with wood floors, while maintaining carpet in the slide out and under the dining table. Stranded bamboo was used for its durability. A transition strip was used between the wood floors and the carpet. It was especially important to ensure the mechanized slide out would not catch on the wood, transition or carpet. The carpet in the bathroom was replaced with vinyl.
